Certifications
UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 (ISO 9001:2008)
Claber was the first Italian company in the sector to have a quality management system certified under UNI EN ISO 9001, the prestigious international certification confirming total quality of the entire manufacturing process, from raw materials and design through to testing and pre/after sales service.
Certification was first secured in 1995 and is renewed every 3 years, updating the system in line with today’s continuously evolving quality standards.
RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC
Acutely aware of the need to guarantee a clean world for people today and for future generations, Claber S.p.A. has adopted a policy aimed at safeguarding the environment through proper management of water usage.
Accordingly, although Claber products come under category 9 in Annexe 1 of what is known as the WEEE directive (2002/96/EC), and are therefore not subject to RoHS (Restrictions of Hazardous Substances) regulations, since 2006 the company has elected nonetheless to ensure compliance of its production with the principles of the directive.
Consequently, there are no hazardous substances contained in electric and electronic components used by Claber for its products.
REACH regulation (n° 1907/2006)
The REACH regulation, introduced 1st June 2007, concerns the Registration, Assessment, Authorization and restriction of CHemicals. Claber neither produces nor imports chemicals, but does utilize products deriving from chemicals, and has therefore standardized its information and use of these substances in conformity with Annexe II of the regulation.
